The UK-based digital banking app Revolut announced on Wednesday that it has broadened the reach of its crypto exchange, Revolut X, now serving customers across 30 additional European countries.
Flat Fee Structure for Users
Revolut X offers a competitive fee model, with a 0.00% fee for makers and a 0.09% fee for takers, regardless of trading volume. Additionally, existing Revolut users can easily convert between fiat currency and cryptocurrency within the app’s ecosystem.
Revolut X Launch Targets UK Retail Market
Launched in May this year, Revolut X was initially introduced to cater to retail customers in the UK, enhancing their options for crypto trading.
Enhanced Trading Tools for Crypto Experts
Revolut X offers European Economic Area (EEA) and UK-based users access to real-time trading and in-depth analytics. These features aim to assist crypto professionals in making well-informed trading decisions.
With TradingView chart integration and technical indicators, the platform provides users with a variety of market-tracking tools, including dashboards that display the most traded tokens, the biggest gainers, and coins with the highest market caps.
Revolut’s Educational Initiative for Crypto Newcomers
To help retail customers build crypto knowledge, Revolut offers a “Crypto Learn” tool, particularly beneficial for first-time buyers. This tool is designed to improve users’ understanding of cryptocurrency trading and investment.
Security and Customer Support Enhancements
Most customer funds are securely stored in cold storage, and support is available around the clock through encrypted chat. Revolut also utilizes advanced risk monitoring tools to safeguard accounts.
Ledger Partnership and Future Stablecoin Plans
In August, Revolut partnered with Ledger, allowing users in multiple EEA countries to access the crypto ecosystem directly via the Revolut app. Ledger Live users can now purchase cryptocurrencies using Revolut accounts or cards. Additionally, Revolut has plans to launch its own stablecoin to compete with established industry leaders.
