Layer 1 Blockchain Mantra Officially Launches Mainnet to Tokenize RWA

Mantra, a blockchain platform with a focus on security, has officially launched its mainnet. This development aims to position the network as a leading ledger for Real-World Assets (RWA).

Participation in Binance Blockchain Week Dubai

The launch comes as Mantra Chain prepares to take part in Dubai’s Binance Blockchain Week, scheduled for October 30th and 31st.

A Step Towards Bringing Real-World Assets On-Chain

In a press release shared with Cryptonews, Mantra highlighted that this mainnet launch is a significant milestone towards integrating RWAs into the blockchain space. John Patrick Mullin, CEO of Mantra, expressed excitement, saying, “We’re thrilled to unveil our mainnet and officially welcome industries, partners, and projects looking to build the future of RWAs together.”

Focus on Regulatory Compliance and Security

Mantra Chain’s mainnet offers a customizable suite of tools designed with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and network security. The platform aims to streamline traditional finance processes and facilitate the transfer of real-world assets to the blockchain.

Future Enhancements and User Rewards

The mainnet will continue to develop, introducing more features and offering access to future RWA drops. Users can bridge Mantra’s native coin, OM, from ERC-20 to the mainnet, where they can stake tokens to secure the network and earn staking rewards. Additionally, users have the opportunity to earn Karma tokens by completing new missions on the mainnet.

Securing Regulatory Approval and Expansion Plans

In March, Mantra Chain successfully raised $11 million to develop its RWA-oriented network. Mullin shared that the company is in the final stages of securing a license from Dubai’s crypto regulatory authority, VARA.

Significant Growth and Future Prospects

Mantra has raised over $25 million in 2024 and witnessed substantial gains for its native OM token. “While 2024 has been a landmark year for Mantra, including collaborations with UAE real estate giant MAG and Zand Bank, the launch of the mainnet marks a critical move in advancing the RWA sector,” the release noted.
